ARNA Jurist have new procedures that jurist must comply with by January 01, 2021

The Aboriginal Republic of North America (ARNA) works on improving the Aboriginal Law Firm by examining itself, and from the results hoping to better the Firm.

There have been a few complaints about current active jurist not preforming up to standards, so enforcing of contracts is one of the solutions to change that.

Anyone who is currently a jurist/special assistant and want to remain apart of the Aboriginal Law Firm must comply.

These new procedures that have been approved by ARNA are not being put into place to punish or call anyone out personally, but to help create a more structure system when representing the government and its services.

ARNA Jurist are responsible with holding themselves and other fellow colleagues to a higher standard.

If you are currently a jurist/special assistant or in the process of becoming an ARNA Jurist, keep reading to learn what new protocols you must implement to remain active.

Aboriginal Jurist Contract

This contract must be sign by all ARNA national who successfully completed the jurist course

Starting September of 2020, this contract will be issued with all Jurist Certificate, but must be complete before certificates can be mailed. Every ARNA National who took the jurist course successfully, even if they signed a contract in the past must still complete this document. The purpose of this is to make sure all jurist remain in compliance with protocol and understands by not doing so they are jeopardizing their position as a Jurist.

Whether you are actively providing services or not, this contract is to be signed before 01/01/2021.

Special Legal Assistant Contract

This contract must be signed by all non-national who successfully passed the jurist course.

Special Legal Assistant are limited when it comes to providing ARNA services. Click Here to learn more.

Starting September of 2020, this contract will also be issued with all Special Legal Assistant Certificate, but must be complete before certificates can be mailed. Every non-national who took the jurist course successfully, even if a contract was signed in the past, must still complete this document. The purpose of this is to make sure all special legal assistant remain in compliance with protocol and understands by not doing so they are jeopardizing their position as a special legal assistant.

Whether you are actively providing services or not, this contract is to be signed before 01/01/2021.

Where do you get the document(s)?

Indigenous of the North will be responsible to provide these documents.

The documents will automatically be supplied to those who place an order for certificates (only if they haven’t signed one yet). For those who were jurist/special assistant before September 01, 2020 and will not be updating their certificate, will need to place a request on indigenousofthenorth.com.

Do I have to pay for the contract?

No, if you will be choosing the mailing option, both contracts are free. If you prefer to do everything electronically (such as e-signing) it will cost $10. E-signing is free when placing order for certificate.


Where do I send the document?

Once the request has been place, the mailing address will be provided to you via email. For those who request to do everything electronically, everything will be done via email (NO NEED TO MAIL ANYTHING).


When is the deadline?

The deadline for current active jurist to comply before 01/01/2021.


What happens if I miss the deadline?

For whatever reason you end up not signing your contract before January 01, 2021. You will be required to pay a penalty fee that can range from $50 to $250 . The fee will depend on whether you have been active within the past year or since you became a jurist/special assistant.

You also place your jurist/special assistant position in jeopardy, and run the risk of your name being place on a list that will be available to the public as no longer apart of Aboriginal Law Firm. If this happens and you want to be apart of Law Firm again, you may have to take the jurist course again and pay additional fees.
